Summer Shakes Recipe!

The days are getting HOTTER and LONGER as Summer finally sets in for the Sydney- sider.

For those of us who aren’t fortunate enough to live by the beach or have the luxurious pool in the backyard it can be somewhat close to torture! Instead of having a cold shower that always ends abruptly or sitting smack bang in front of the air- con just so the cool breeze hits you (and only you) why not try a refreshing coool shake?

Here are a couple of easy delicious recipes to try out (ps. have an ice blender handy!)


Brekky Shake

Ingredients: Oats, Banana, Strawberry Yoghurt, Chocolate Low Carb Protein Powder, Skim Milk and Ice cubes.

Directions:
-Add 2 tablespoons of Strawberry Yoghurt and 1 scoop of Chocolate Lo Carb Protein Powder.
-To finish add 100mls of milk, 1 and 1/2 cups of ice cubes, then
pour 1/2 a cup of oats into blender, followed by half a banana.
blend!


Mango shake (inspired by Mango Magic @ Boost)

Ingredients: Mango Nectar, Banana, Vanilla Yoghurt, Vanilla Ice Cream and Ice cubes

Directions:
-Pour 100mls of mango nectar into blender, followed by half a banana.
-Add 2 tablespoons of vanilla yoghurt and 3 tablespoon scoops of vanilla ice cream.
-Finally add about 2 cups of ice cubes, then blend!
